Upcoming 1080p LED Monitors
LG 25G590B

LG revealed the LG UltraGear 25G590B (previously called 25G950B), the first gaming monitor with a native 1080p 1000Hz (1100Hz OC) refresh rate. Unlike other 1000Hz+ displays, which can only reach those refresh rates at a lower 720p resolution, it delivers the full 1000Hz at 1080p.
It’s based on a 24.5″ IPS panel, so we’re curious to see if its pixel response time will be able to keep up with the refresh rate. LG also mentions Motion Blur Reduction Pro, a backlight strobing technology, though there’s no word yet on whether it improves upon their usual MBR implementation.
Other specs include a 400-nit peak brightness, 1ms GtG quoted response time, 99% sRGB color gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio, hardware calibration support, tilt, height and swivel stand adjustments, as well as VESA mount compatibility.
